Fine Arts Festival

AGFinancial Arena (Building #25 on EU Map located above) will be the main location for this event including: check-in, the Kick Off Rally, and the Celebration Service. Presentations and evaluations will still take place in various buildings across campus.

What is Fine Arts?

Fine Arts Festival is more than an event—it’s a discipleship journey designed by AG Youth Ministries to help students discover, develop, and deploy the gifts God has placed inside them. Through categories like music, drama, art, writing, short film, and more, students are encouraged to grow their creativity and use it to make a difference for the Kingdom.

We believe every student has a God-given purpose, and Fine Arts provides the space to explore and refine that calling. With the support of leaders, mentors, and family, participants are challenged to develop their talents and use them in their schools, churches, and communities.

The Fine Arts Kick Off Rally is the moment we come together to pause, worship, and refocus our hearts on Jesus before the festival begins. This gathering sets the tone for the entire weekend as students and leaders unite in worship, hear a powerful message, and are reminded that Fine Arts is not about performance—but about using our gifts for God’s glory.

Following the Kick Off Rally, all Choirs will begin presenting at 8:30 PM. This marks the official start of presentations as students step out in faith to offer their talents to the Lord.

Fine Arts Kick Off Rally

SPEAKER: Holly Davis

Holly Davis is an ordained Assemblies of God minister with over 25 years of full-time ministry experience loving, leading, and discipling students. She spent many years as a local church youth pastor and later served with her husband as the North Carolina District Youth Directors.

In 2022, Holly joined the National Office and now serves as the National Student Discipleship Director. She’s passionate about seeing students discover their identity in Christ and step boldly into everything God has prepared for them—right here, right now.

Fine Arts Is an Effective Discipleship Tool — Here’s Why

Fine Arts Festival gives students a practical way to grow as disciples by helping them discover and develop the gifts God has placed inside them. Instead of creativity staying on the sidelines, students learn how to use their talents in real, meaningful ways for the Kingdom.

Through preparation and participation, students gain:

  • Confidence in how God has wired them

  • Discipline and excellence through practice and follow-through

  • Constructive feedback from trusted leaders and evaluators

  • Ownership of their faith as they step out and lead with their gifts

Fine Arts also strengthens your youth ministry. Preparing students builds mentorship moments, creates team culture, and gives leaders natural opportunities to disciple students one-on-one throughout the year.

Most importantly, Fine Arts helps students connect the dots between what they love to do and how God can use it in their schools, churches, and communities—right now, not someday.
